by Zohaib for everyone
If, Love begins with me ....
A thought of universal oneness
A thought of universal peace
Into the mind's sky shall pierce
To impart the message of hope.

If, Love begins with me ....
Like a monsoon cloud
I shall drift forward
Into the terrains of drought
To dispel fears of the suffering lot.

If, Love begins with me ....
Like an oasis in a desert
I shall douse one's thirst,
Shower the spirit of love
To savor the essence of love.

If, Love begins with me ....
Like an emissary of peace
Waving the flag of peace
The clouds of war shall I diffuse
Love and trust shall I infuse.

If, Love begins with me ....
The doomed and the depressed
The outraged and the orphaned
Shall be offered a loving hand
That remains an eternal love-bond.

The 36 Rules of Life

1. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

2. Don't worry about what people think; they don't do it very often.

3. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car.

4. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

5. If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

6. My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.

7. Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

8. A person who is nice to you but rude to the waiter is not a nice person.
(This is very important. Pay attention! It never fails.)

9. For every action there is an equal and opposite government program.

10. If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip.

11. Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of cheques.

12. A conscience is what hurts when all of your other parts feel so good.

13. Eat well; stay fit; die anyway.

14. Men are from earth. Women are from earth. Deal with it.

15. No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes.

16. A balanced diet is a muffin in each hand.

17. Middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness of the waist change places.

18. Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.

19. Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it.

20. There is always one more imbecile than you counted on.

21. Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

22. By the time you can make ends meet, they move the ends.

23. Thou shalt not weigh more than thy refrigerator.

24.. Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.

25. It ain't the jeans that make your butt look fat.

26. If you had to identify in one word the reason why the human race has not achieved and never will achieve its full potential, that word would be 'meetings.'

27. There is a very fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness.'

28. People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them.

29. You should not confuse your career with your life.

30. Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

31. Never lick a steak knife.

32. The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.

33. You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.

34. You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.

35. The one thing that unites all human beings regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, or ethnic background is that deep down inside we ALL believe we are above average drivers.

36. Your friends love you anyway

My only childhood zoo experience is that of the Manila Zoo. My papa would take me and my brother Boyet to the zoo to see the animals. I remember there used to be seals, lions, giraffes, tigers and that practically all the cages and pens were filled.

It was a sad day when Peter (the spitting orangutan) passed away. With no Peter (no lions, giraffes, and other exotic animals) to entertain and please crowd, Manila Zoo slowly and sadly died. Last I saw, the zoo is being renovated complete with a petting zoo

Blog EntryCHRISTMAS IN THE PHILIPPINESDec 25, '07 9:15 AM
by prinsesa vhanezza for everyone

"ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES"

The Philippines, one of two predominantly Catholic countries in Asia has Christmas as one of the biggest holidays on the calendar. The country has earned the distinction of celebrating the world's longest Christmas season, with Christmas carols are heard as early as September and the season lasting up until Ephipany.

Misa de Gallo (Dec. 16-24)

Traditionally, Christmas Day in the Philippines is ushered in by the nine-day dawn masses that start on December 16 Known as the Misa de Gallo (Rooster's Mass) in the traditional Spanish, and these masses are also more popularly known in Filipino as Simbang Gabi, or "Night Mass". The Simbang Gabi is the most important Filipino Christmas tradition.

These nine dawn Masses are also considered as a Novena by the Catholic and Aglipayan faithfuls. This refers to the Roman Catholic and Aglipayan practice of performing nine days of private or public devotion to obtain special graces.

In some parishes, the Simbang gabi begins as early as four in the morning. Going to mass this early for nine consecutive days is meant to show the churchgoer's devotion to his faith and heighten anticipation for the Nativity of the Lord. In traditional Filipino belief, however, completing the novena is also supposed to mean that God would grant the devotee's special wish or favor.

After hearing Mass, Filipino families partake of traditional Philippine Christmas delicacies, either during breakfast at home or immediately outside the church, where they are sold. Vendors offer a wealth of native delicacies, including bibingka (rice flour and egg based cake, cooked using coals on top and under), puto bumbong (a purple sticky rice delicacy which is steamed in bamboo tubes, with brown sugar and coconut shavings as condiments), salabat (hot ginger tea) and tsokolate (thick Spanish cocoa).

Christmas Eve

For Filipinos, Christmas Eve on ("Bisperas ng Pasko") December 24 is the much-anticipated Noche Buena -- the traditional Christmas Eve feast after the midnight mass. Family members dine together around 12 midnight on traditional Noche Buena fare, which includes: queso de bola (Span. literally "ball of cheese"; edam cheese), "Tsokolate" (hot chocolate drink) and hamon (Christmas ham), and some would open presents at this time.

In different provinces and schools throughout the Philippines, Catholic devotees also reenact the journey of Joseph and the pregnant Blessed Virgin Mary in search of lodging for the soon-to-be born Jesus Christ. This is the traditional Panunuluyan, also called Pananawagan and Pananapatan.

This street pageant is performed after dark on Christmas Eve, with the actors portraying Joseph and Mary going to pre-designated houses. They chant wika wika bang bang, a traditional folksong that is meant to wake up the owner of the house as the actors ask for lodging. But the couple (actors) are turned away by the owners, also through a song. Finally, Joseph and Mary make their way to the parish church where a simulated manger has been set up. The birth of Jesus is celebrated at midnight with the Misa de Gallo, together with hallelujahs and Christmas carols. Everybody celebrates this tradition happily yet solemnly.

Christmas Day

Christmas in The Philippines is primarily a family affair. Prior to the ticking of 12 midnight on 25December Misa de Aguinaldo is being celebrated. It is usually attended by the whole family. Misa de Aguinaldo is the Holy mass celebrated to signify the Birth of Jesus Christ the Roman Catholic Church and Philippine Independent Church (Aglipayan) in the Philippines' main means of celebrating Jesus Christ's birth.

Misa de Aguinaldo is also celebrated at dawn or in the morning immediately after sunrise before 10 AM, this schedule is preferred by Filipinos who choose to celebrate Christmas Eve with a night-long celebration of Noche Buena.

Preferably in the morning, Filipino families visit members of the extended family, notably the elders in order to pay their respect. This custom has been an age-old tradition in the Philippines called Pagmamano, this is done by touching one's forehead to the elder's hand saying Mano Po. The elder then blesses the person who paid respect. Aguinaldo or money in the form of crisp, fresh-from-the-bank bills is given after the Pagmamano, most usually to younger children.

A Christmas lunchusually follows after the Pagmamano. The lunch is heavily dependent upon the finances of the family. Rich families tend to prepare grand and glorious feasts that consist of Jamon de Bola, Queso de Bola, Lechon and other Filipino delicacies. Some poor families choose to cook simple meals, nevertheless still special. When the family is settled after the lunch, the exchange of gifts is usually done. Grandparents are expected to give gifts or Aguinaldo to their godchildren.

When nightime falls, members of the family usually take part in family talks while listening to favorite Christmas carols. Some may opt to have a glorious Christmas feast for dinner.

Niños Inocentes

Niños Inocentes is commemorated on December 28 as Holy Innocents Day or Childermas in other countries. The innocents referred to are the children who were massacred by order of Herod, who was seeking the death of the newborn Messiah.

New Year's Eve (Dec. 31)

On New Year's Eve ("Bisperas ng Bagong Taon"), Filipino families gather for the Media Noche or midnight meal – a feast that is also supposed to symbolize their hopes for a prosperous New Year. In spite of the yearly ban on firecrackers, many Filipinos in the Philippines still see these as the traditional means to greet the New Year. The loud noises and sounds of merrymaking are not only meant to celebrate the coming of the New Year but are also supposed to drive away bad spirits. Safer methods of merrymaking include banging on pots and pans and blowing on car horns. Folk beliefs also include encouraging children to jump at the stroke of midnight so that they would grow up tall, displaying circular fruit and wearing clothes with dots and other circular designs to symbolize money, eating twelve grapes at 12 midnight for good luck in the twelve months of the year, and opening windows and doors during the first day of the New Year to let in the good luck.

Three Kings (First Sunday of the year)

Christmas officially ends on the Feast of the Three Kings (Tres Reyes or Tatlong Hari in Tagalog, also known as the Feast of the Epiphany The Feast of the Three Kings was traditionally commemorated on Jan. 6 but is now celebrated on the first Sunday after the New Year. Some children leave their shoes out, so that the Three Kings would leave behind gifts like candy or money inside. Jan. 6 is also known in other countries as Twelfth Night, and the Twelve Day of Christmas referred to in the Christmas Carol are the twelve days between Christmas Day (December 25) and the coming of the Three Kings (January 6).

Decorations

The Filipino Christmas would not be complete without the traditional Philippine Christmas symbols and decorations. Christmas lights are strung about in festoons as the tail of the Star of Bethlehem in Belens in shapes like stars, Christmas trees, angels, and in a large variety of other ways, even going as far as draping the whole outside of the house in lights. Aside from Western decorations like Santa claus, Christmas trees tinsel, etc, the Philippines has its own ways of showing that it is the holidays.

Parol

Though not strictly a custom, every Christmas season, Filipino homes and buildings are adorned with beautiful star lanterns, called parol (Span. farol, meaning lantern or lamp-Merriam Webster Spanish- English English- Spanish Dictionary). The earliest parols were traditionally made from simple materials like bamboo sticks, Japanese rice paper (known as "papel de Hapon") or crepe paper, and a candle or coconut oil-lamp for illumination; although the present day parol can take many different shapes and forms. The most base form of the lantern is a 5-pointed star with two "tails" at the lower two tips. Other variations are 4, 8, 10 pointed stars with the rarer 6, 16 and so on pointed stars. The parol is also traditionally made of lacquered paper and bamboo, but others are made of cellophane, plastic, rope, capiz shell and a wide variety of materials. Making parols is a folk craft, and most Filipino kids have tried their hand at making a parol at one time or another, maybe as a school project or otherwise. The most basic parol can be easily constructed with just ten bamboo sticks, sticks, paper, and glue. These lanterns represent the Star of Bethlehem that guided the Magi, also known as the Three Wise Men or Three Kings (Tatlong Hari in Tagalog). Parols are to Filipinos as Christmas trees are to Westerners- an iconic and beloved symbol of the holiday.

Belen

Another traditional Filipino Christmas symbol is the Belen -- a creche or tableau representing the Nativity scene. It depicts the infant Jesus Christ in the manger surrounded by the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, the shepherds, their flock, the Magi and some stable animals and angels. Belens can be seen in homes, churches, schools and even office buildings. The ones on office buildings can be extravagant, using different materials for the figures and using Christmas lights, parols, and painted background scenery. A notable outdoor belen in Metro Manila is the one that used to be at the COD building in Cubao, Quezon City In 2003, the belen was transferred to the Green Hills Shopping Center in San Juan when the COD building closed down. This belen is a lights and sounds presentation, the story being narrated over speakers set up and most probably using automatons to make the figures move up and down, or turn, etc. Each year, the company owning it changes the theme, with variations such as a fairground story, and Santa Claus journey. Construction for this year's show started around September 1. On the other hand, Tarlac, known as the "Belen Capital of the Philippines" holds the annual "Belenismo sa Tarlac". It is a belen making contest which is participated by establishments and residents in Tarlac. Giant belens with different themes are displayed in front of the establishments and roads of Tarlac for the rest of the Christmas season.

Caroling

In the Philippines, children also celebrate Christmas with the traditional Christmas caroling --going from house to house singing Christmas carols. Makeshift instruments include tambourines made with tansans (aluminum bottle caps) strung on a piece of wire. With the traditional chant of "Namamasko po!", these carolers wait expectantly for the owner of the house to reward them with coins. After being rewarded, the carolers thank the owner by singing "Thank you, thank you, ang babait ninyo (you are so kind), thank you!"

An example of a carol sung is "Sa may bahay ang aming bati" (from Jim Ayson’s Maligayang Pasko!):

Sa may báhay ang áming báti:
"Merry Christmas na maluwalháti!"
Ang pag-íbig, pag siyàng naghári,
Aràw-áraw ay mágiging Paskó lagí!
Chorus:
Ang sanhî po ng pagparíto,
Ay híhingi po ng áginaldo.
Kung sakáli't kami'y perhuwísyo
Pasensya na kayó't kamí'y namámasko!
Ulítin lahàt

Translation:

At the house we greet:
"A Glorious Merry Christmas!"
If Love were to reign,
then everyday would be Christmas!
Chorus:
The reason we came here
is to ask for gifts.
If it so happens we are a bother,
Be patient since we're soliciting for Christmas!
Repeat all

COME HOME THIS CHRISTMAS!!!

Blog EntryTrue Love & CareSep 4, '07 9:26 AM
by willie wong for everyone

I was born in a secluded village on a mountain. Day by day, my parents plowed the yellow dry soil with their backs towards the sky.
I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me. I wanted to buy a handkerchief, which all girls around me seemed to have. So, one day I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father had discovered about the stolen money
right away.

He made me and my younger brother kneel against the wall as he held a bamboo stick in his hand. "Who stole the money?" he asked. I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Neither of us admitted to the fault, so he said, "Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!"

He lifted up the bamboo stick. Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand and said," Dad, I was the one who did it!" The long stick smacked my brother's back repeatedly. Father was so angry that he kept on whipping my brother until he lost his breath.

After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, "You have learned to steal from your own house now. What other embarrassing things will you be possibly doing in the future? You should be beaten to death, you shameless thief!"

That night, my mother and I hugged my brother. His body was full of wounds from the beating but he never shed a single tear. In the middle of the night, all of sudden, I cried out loudly. My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, " Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened." I still hate myself for not having enough courage to admit what I did.

Years gone by, but the incident still seemed like it just happened yesterday. I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me.

That year, my brother was 8 years old and I was 11 years old. When my brother was in his last year of secondary school, he was accepted in an upper secondary school in the central. At the same time, I was accepted into a university in the province. That night, father squatted in the yard, smoking, packet by packet.

I could hear him ask my mother, "Both of our children, they have good results? very good results?" Mother wiped off her tears and sighed," What is the use? How can we possibly finance both of them?" At that time, my brother walked out, he stood in front
of father and said,"Dad, I don't want to continue my study anymore, I have read enough books."

Father swung his hand and slapped my brother on his face. "Why do you have a spirit so damn weak? Even if it means I have to beg for money on the streets, I will send you two to school until you have both finished your study!"

And then, he started to knock on every house in the village to borrow money. I stuck out my hand as gently as I can to my brother's swollen face, and told him, "A boy has to continue his study; If not, he will not be able to overcome this poverty we are experiencing."

I, on the other hand, had decided not to further my study at the university. Nobody knew that on the next day, before dawn, my brother left the house with a few pieces of worn-out clothes and a few dry beans. He sneaked to my side of the bed and left a note on my pillow; "Sis, getting into a university is not easy. I will go find a job and I will send money to you."

I held the note while sitting on my bed, and cried until I lost my voice. That year, my brother was 17 years old; I was 20 years old.

With the money father borrowed from the whole village, and the money my brother earned from carrying cement on his back at a construction site, finally, I managed to get to the third year of my study in the university.

One day, while I was studying in my room, my roommate came in and told me,"There's a villager waiting for you outside!" Why would there be a villager looking for me? I walked out, and I saw my brother from afar. His whole body was covered with dirt, dust, cement and sand. I asked him, "Why did you not tell my roommate that you are my brother?"

He replied with a smile," Look at my appearance. What will they think if they would know that I am your brother? Won't they laugh at you?" I felt so touched, and tears filled my eyes. I swept away dirt and dust from my brother's body. And told him with a lump in my throat, " I don't care what people would say! You are my brother no matter what your appearance is?"

From his pocket, he took out a butterfly hair clip. He put it on my hair and said, "I saw all the girls in town are wearing it. So, I think you should also have one." I could not hold back myself anymore. I pulled my brother into my arms and cried.

That year, my brother was 20 years old; I was 23 years old. I noticed that the broken window was repaired the first time I brought my boyfriend home. The house was scrubbed cleaned. After my boyfriend left, I danced like a little girl in front of my mother, "Mom, you didn't have to spend so much time cleaning the house!" But she told me with a smile," It was your brother who went home early to clean the house. Didn't you see the wound on his hand? He hurt his hand while he was replacing the window." I went into my brother's bedroom. Looking at his thin face, I felt like there are hundreds of needle pricked in my heart.

I applied some ointment on his wound and put a bandag
e on it, "Does it hurt? " I asked him. "No, it doesn't hurt. You know, when at the construction site, stones keep falling on my feet . Even that could not stop me from working." In the middle of the sentence, he stopped. I turned my back on him and tears rolled down my face.

That year, my brother was 23 years old; I was 26 years old. After I got married, I lived in the city. Many times my husband invited my parents to come and live with us, but they didn't want. They said, once they left the village, they wouldn't know what to do. My brother agreed with them. He said, "Sis, you just take care of your parents-in-law. I will take care of mom and dad here."

My husband became the director of his factory. We asked my brother to accept the offer of being the manager in the maintenance department. But my brother rejected the offer. He insisted on working as a repairman instead for a start.

One day, my brother was on the top of a ladder repairing a cable, when he got electrocuted, and was sent to the hospital. My husband and I visited him at the hospital. Looking at the white gypsum on his leg, I grumbled, "Why did you reject the offer of being a manager? Managers won't do something dangerous like that. Now look at you, You are suffering a serious injury. Why didn't you just listen to us?"

With a serious expression on his face, he defended his decision, "Think of brother-in-law. He just became the director, and I being uneducated, and would become a manager, what kind of rumors would fly around?" My husband's eyes filled up with tears, and then I said, "But you lack in education only because of me!" "Why do you talk about the past?" he said and then he held my hand.

That year, he was 26 years old and I was 29 years old. My brother was 30 years old when he married a farmer girl from the village. During the wedding reception, the master of ceremonies asked him, "Who is the one person you respect and love the most?"
Without even taking a time to think, he answered," My sister." He continued by telling a story I could not even remember.

"When I was in primary school, the school was in a different village. Everyday, my sister and I would walk for 2 hours to school and back home. One day, I lost the other pair of my gloves. My sister gave me one of hers. She wore only one glove and she had to walk far. When we got home, her hands were trembling because of the cold weather that she could not even hold her chopsticks.

From that day on, I swore that as long as I live, I would take care of my sister and will always be good to her." Applause filled up the room. All guests turned their attention to me. I found it hard to speak, "In my whole life, the one I would like to thank most is my brother," And in this happy occasion, in front of the crowd, tears were rolling down my face again.

Love and care for the one you love every single day of your life.
You may think what you did is just a small deed, but to that someone, it may mean a lot.

Blog EntryHow to maintain a good relationship...Aug 26, '07 5:56 AM
by willie wong for everyone
Once you have been choose him/her as
your partner, means you're going to be
with him/her forever... So, why still
don't ever put more faith on each
other?

For boys to treat his girlfriends,
1. Girls always like guys to treat
them sweet. non boring.
2. Girls always need guys to care
about her & ask how she is.
3. Girls dislike her boyfriends never
admit that she is his girlfriends.
4. Once girls get angry, guys must
always try to console them do not care
who rights or wrongs.
5. Boys must always remember any of
girls' small matters & try to
understanding them much.
6. Girls always like her boyfriend
initiative.

For Girls to treat her boyfriends,
1. Boys always like his girlfriends
respect him. So, do not ever make him
ashame in front of the others.
2. Boys also need his girlfriends to
care him.
3. Boys dislike his girlfriends always
ask him too many questions when he go
out with the others. means suspect
him. Just wait him to tell you what he
has done.
4. Boys might be jealose if his
girlfriends try to date with the
others boy especially alone. I feel
that girl also same as this feeling.
5. Don't ever suspect them much, they
will upset & feel that his girlfriends
not ever trust them much.

Girls sometimes may not dare put all
her faith on her boyfriends because
some of them think that her boyfriends
not love their heart only, they just
interest on sex.

Boys will put all his faith on his
girlfriends. Please try to trust them,
once they together with you means how
much they loves you. It is not easy to
treat & make his girlfriends happy
always. Boys always do the best to
cheer up his girlfriends always.

If you feel that this comment is
rights & intersting you can foward to
share these with the others.

Blog EntryOn my mind.. "Give Me Passion!"Jun 14, '07 11:32 AM
by PeRiWiNkLe for everyone
I can't bear it.. I'm a romantic.. i'm in love with love and i love being in love.. i believe in love as a scared rite, a mystical journey, an exultation.. although i am single, i always feel in love..

Go ahead.. laugh! the ill apologize for the hyperbole.. it's just that i hear the expressions affectionate bonding and companibale marriage one more time, i'll scream..

its not that i have anything against the concept of "mature love" i actually love it.. i agree that delirious "in love" phase of love is pitifully brief.. but these says, God, if youre embroiled in any love affair that doesnt promise to develop into a "long term relationship" another hear-numbing phrase; you can be certain your grand amour will be judged inconsequential, adolescent, or neurotic.. haha! actually, all of us have neurosis (this is what i have learned from my teacher today) it just depends on what level it is.. that might lead to psyhosis.. LOL

anyways, as i continue, the same goes for anyone in any kind of hopless love.. hmm..never mind that one of the world's greatest poets, DAnte.. he was in love for a lifetime with Beatrice, who died before they had been properly introduced., he was a poet.. and that's supposed to make it different..

but, of course it doesnt.. the main difference between poets and us ordinary mortals is that poets are lucky enough to be able to express the yearnings that we all feel for ecstasy and inspiration, for something to lift us out of the banality of evryday life.. a poet can create, can imagine.. but even if im not a poet, i can still imagine things beyond.. LOL! cool isnt it.. but im not telling that only poets can imagine.. of course evryone does.. im just emphasizing that "poet" thingy.. LOL,,

romantic love is in itself an act of imagination.. (ive read one of the articles somewhere.. sorry i forgot the name.. but most poets believe that romantic love is just an imagination) do you agree? somehow me? i dont.. LOL! but come to think of this, "whatever did i see in him?" to realize that what you saw was the product of your own imagination.. hmm.. this doesnt mean, however, that your love was necessarily a foolish, dangerous illusion.. now was it simply lust or just infatuation.. all it means is that it wasnt "affectionate bonding" what is that? it is the type of love rightly praised for being reliable, predictable, and stable.. so it's little wonder, in a time of conversatism and fear, that even 20 yr old;s who should be cavorting wildly with all and sundry on the beaches of a foreign land are choosing the safer option of sensible relationships.. hmm.. even lesser than 20's.. haha! the mother age factor is going younger now..Ü

but it's a grave mistake to think that being "in love" has little value unless it grows into real love.. this is a miserly and reductive way of thinking.. first of all, pragmatism about relationships is not an infallible hallmark of maturity and mental stability.. second, love is not an assurance policy.. it is an intention of the heart.. for that reason, it's my belief that we should loosen up a little in our judgments of our own and other;s love affairs.. we should neither apologize for nor denigrate passion simply because it's unfashionably out of control.. we should recognize that wildly romantic love is one of the few forms of risk taking left for the ordinary individuals.. ehem.. like ME. hehehe! in a secular age, its also the closest thing to a religious experience that most of us are ever likely to feel..

but above all, we must remember that the bittersweet joys of a brief and even painful liaison can very often enrich and briaden our lives.. in even the shortes, most intense affairs we granted invaluable oppurtunities; to cast off stifling inhibitions, to revel in the tumult of emotion, to explore our inner sleves, to let go completely.. =( this can be risky, yes, but so can "companiable marriage".. because there is nothing in life ultimately more dangerous for the soul than to be starved for passion..

Blog EntryDreamers ManifestoApr 2, '07 2:49 AM
by XXXX for everyone
I, Harold, choose to

Live a life of adventure, excitement, service, joy,

Spontaneity and love. I choose to love.

And as I love I live, as I live I give, as I give I serve

As I serve I step closer to the reality of my dreams.

I will dream.

I will dream of big and amazing and spectacular and

Awesome dreams.

I will live my dreams and not compromise for the

Sake of security or safety or comfort.

I will jump out of my comfort-zone and embrace

Change.

Change, whom I fear.

Change, whom I dread

I will seek to live beyond what I can, believing that

The God whom I trust is much, much bigger and

Greater than any obstacle I may face.

I will face my fear.

I will stop running away from it and turn around.

And when I'm face-to-face and

Eye-to-eye to it, I will grab the bull by its balls and

Make it scream surrender.

I surrender.

I surrender to my great Destiny.

Knowing deep in my heart I am destined for

Excellence. I am destined for greatness.

Not mediocrity,

Not conformity,

Not in arrogance

But with the mantle of humility placed upon me.

Because this is not about me.

This is about humanity.

I will persevere for the sake of humanity,

Who need men and women inflamed by passion

That will ignite the hearts of the timid and fearful

Souls to push on and soar higher.

And I will do all this not in ten years from now

When I'm free.

Not five years from now when I have money.

Not one year from now when I am ready.

Not one week from now when I know how.

Not even tomorrow for tomorrow is far from.

Now

I will live my dreams and

Act now!!
